Observation Skills Test

How many types of Hello Kitty products in that room?

  1. Many women at my school have many Hello Kitty and other similar products covering their desks. They wear the products as clothing, jewellery and accessories. They cover their Powerpoint slides and worksheets with these products. They openly tell students of their love for the products.

What interests me is that it is acceptable in Hong Kong. Why? Why is it OK for an adult who has the responsibility of looking after children to enjoy things designed originally for children, and to enjoy them to such an extent?

I have my theories but I'd like to know yours first.

  2. To me I didn't like Hello Kitty actually, seldom to cover them in my presentation, video or phototaking, but it seems that Hello Kitty is becoming more popular, for example, university graudates would like to have one in their photos, why they like them, maybe it give us, the adult, a sense of looking still young and cute in the eyes of others, do you?
